Genesis 12:2

"And it came to pass, when the king dwelt in his house, and Jehovah had given him rest from all his enemies round about,"

"seeing that Abraham had surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?"

"As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be the father of a multitude of nations."

"But from those who were reputed to be somewhat (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth not man's person)-- they, I say, who were of repute imparted nothing to me:"

"And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a company of peoples."

"And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel."
